MALAYSIA: Klotz Communications is to be represented in Malaysia by JAA Systems Sdn Bhd, led by well known industry figure David Chan. The appointment represents a homecoming of sorts for Mr Chan, who worked with Klotz Digital earlier in his career. The distributor has been named as the exclusive representative of the manufacturer’s broadcast range.
The deal sees Klotz Communications join a growing number of prestigious brands within the JAA Systems catalogue including Jünger Audio and DK-Technologies. The distributor will be responsible for all sales and support activities relating to the manufacturer’s radio mixers and digital audio routers including the Graphite 1, Graphite 2, Integra, and Touchstone consoles, as well as the new AoIP g2 platform, which is compatible with VADIS products by Klotz Digital.
Following the announcement, Mr Chan described himself as ‘thrilled to be appointed as the exclusive distributor for Klotz Communications in Malaysia. It is a great honour to us. The Klotz brand has been established in Malaysia for decades and most if not all, Klotz equipment is still working fine since it was first installed, with some installations dating back more than 15 years. We will bring back the strong Klotz brand again and take it to the next level’.
‘We are happy to appoint JAA Systems and David Chan to represent Klotz Communications in Malaysia,’ added Thomas Klotz, president and managing director of Klotz Communications. ‘David has previously worked with Klotz Digital Asia and has established his name in the broadcast industry in Malaysia. He is the right choice to support the Klotz brand in Malaysia and we trust him and his team to do the best possible job for our customers.’
